Rom and Aideen left Ireland in 2005 to create Ultreia directly on the ancient pilgrimage route of Saint Jacques/Saint James/Santiago (the GR65), in the historical town of Moissac.
Our home has a warm Irish welcome, with comfortable quality accommodation. We have a choice of either private Chambre d’Hotes rooms, or beds in small dormitories. In the evening we offer a meal (on reservation), containing local fresh produce and vegetables from our garden where possible.
Come and follow in the footsteps of centuries of pilgrims. Moissac is surrounded by history – the Abbey Saint Pierre and the famed Cloister are within 500 metres ; wander around the ancient centre of town, or discover its Art Déco origins; or you can walk, cycle, or take a boat along the river Tarn or the Canal des Deux Mers (with its cycle path joining the Atlantic ocean to the Mediterranean sea). We are beside the train station.
